The SKIT switch-type, weatherproof sensor adapter provides a quick, reliable way to connect compatible rain, freeze, moisture or other normally closed switch-type sensors. The connection can be made either directly to the LEIT series irrigation controllers or to one of the micro-powered solenoid actuators.

Normally closed switch-type sensors (such as a rain, moisture or freeze sensors) can be installed on a LEIT Controller if there is an unused station available. If a spare station does not exist, a sensor can be installed at one of the valve locations by connecting a SKIT 8821-4 to any LEMA actuator. For either type of installation, a SKIT 8821-4 is required to connect a sensor to the system.
